Publisher's Synopsis
The Symposium on Charm Physics, held in Beijing, The People's Republic of China, in June 1987, was one in a series designed to introduce important frontier areas of science to China. This volume contains the lectures given at the symposium by group leaders of international charm physics research centres. Covering rapidly-developing areas of high energy physics, the lectures review the current status of research, discuss present difficulties and outline possibilites for future developments, to provide researchers and graduate students with an up-to-date review of work in this area.
