Publisher's Synopsis
Two solitary men met while attending the University of Maryland and found that they had the same basic interests in academics. One was more of an engineer, and the other leaned more toward science and chemistry. What brought them together was their love of literature, especially the old classics, which included the preservation and use of ancient ink and paper of the very rare and unusual books on world history, among others. They become involved in the black market sale of forged antique books.
When murder and monies from the crimes crossed state lines, the FBI was called in and their top man, Special Agent Jefferies. The director of the FBI gives him a new fiery female partner by the name of Agent Jane Marlowe. Their investigation deepens, and sparks fly as the two work to break the case and figure out who is involved and close the case.
