Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Catalogue of the Porcellian Club of Harvard University
Until the year 1833, the books, prints, statuary, and valuable relics deposited with the Association were kept in the Librarian's room. The collection then becoming too large and valuable to be left in this state of insecurity, the Association obtained a lease of the rooms which they still occupy.
These rooms are now open at all hours for the use of members.
