To my native Town of Groton aforesaid, I give the sum of four thousand dollars, to be known as the Dalrymple Fund, of which the income only of two thousand dollars shall be applied to the purchase of books for its public library, and the income only of two thousand dollars shall be applied, under the direction of the Overseers of the Poor of said town, to the treatment of worthy American citizens of said town, suf Jering from disease of, or of injury to the eye.
