II. Encyclopedias and unbound periodicals may be retained from the Library one week only; all other books two weeks, 'except when recalled. III. Books must be charged, in all cases, before they are taken from the Library. IV. Four volumes only may stand charged to the same name at the same time, and no person may draw books upon the name of any other member without pre senting to the Librarian a request in writing from that member, naming the mdl vidual book or books; the said member becoming responsible for any fines assess ed upon, or loss of such books. V. Books may be renewed once only before returning to the shelves, and for this purpose must be brought to the Library.
