Publisher's Synopsis
Tsukumo has successfully infiltrated the school by possessing the Vice Principal, and several other Spirit Beasts possess students. Yumi joins a cat named Shinpachi as she searches for Kansuke he looks for his fellow cat, Ponta. They end up at the library, where Tsukumo has discovered Sando's room. Tsukumo realizes this is a great chance to get rid of them all and steal the key to Sando's room, so he orders Rachi the Spider Spirit Beast to kill them all. The very instant Rachi moves in, Raimu closes his eyes, transporting everyone there into a different world in his dream. And in Raimu's dream, his allies are invincible, which is bad news for the outnumbered spider.
The danger is over for now, but the Student Council members now realize that there may be many Spirit Beasts hiding within the bodies of students, sneaking into the school undetected.
