this, too, was born from their concurrence. this was born from a sense of urgency, & a feeling of running out of time. you never know how long you have on this earth, in this body. this represents all of the not knowing, & feeling accordingly. aching & yearning & longing & getting! then worrying & pondering & aching some more. every moment as precious as the air in your lungs, every second a delicious morsel you wish you could savor. but time neither slows down nor reverses, it simply continues on endlessly into the future, one big flat circle.
i love with the same strength with which i am angry; all-consuming, visceral, powerful, immediate. i love with the fullness of someone who has never been hurt. so, if this is how i die, if this is how it ends, i want it to be known that i have never been happier.
