44 peer-reviewed chapters from the CO2 Capture Project (CCP) teams of geologists, subsurface specialists, engineers, policy & regulatory & communications specialists drawn from CCP member companies. Together, they aim to increase understanding of the science, economics & practical engineering applications of CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS). The results from the 3rd CCP phase (2009-2014), which has seen significant progress resulting in demonstrations, field trials & studies, are presented in this Volume. Topics include field demonstration and lab testing of advance capture technology, along with aspects of policy barriers and regulatory hurdles for CCS deployment. There are also 8 chapters of context and summary information, as well as outlines of recommendations and plans for future work.
