Ingrid Eleonora Noppen was born in 1951 in a house on Oostzeedijk in Rotterdam. She lived an exciting childhood in the rubble and buildings of the dynamic city. The smell of the ports and the sailor bars and the sounds are still alive and has a familiar presence in her memory. Besides writing, Ingrid has so many other interests and hobbies that she finds her time constantly too short.
