This volume shows us some of their amazing as well as routine experiences of missions in Canada and overseas. The essays interpret missions as religious and cultural encounter, and reconstruct multiplex relationships which embrace diverse peoples - native Indians, English, French, Irish, Scots, Ukrainians, Swiss, East Indians in Trinidad and India. The motives and achievements of the missionaries were mixed and their creativity was boundless.
