We might have gone thoroughly into the history of citrus culture, especially in our State, but the beginner or novice, for whom this is principally intended, usually cares little for that; we might have discussed varieties at length, but this would be confusing and not in accord with our purpose, and so we have considered this subject only so far as it is immediately practical.
