The world entered the New Year of 2020 with a huge tide of optimism: a brand-new year as well as a brand-new decade. After all, who doesn't want "20/20" vision? But it didn't take long for the optimism to change as this new virus, later called COVID, erupted from Wuhan, China, and took the world by storm. That something so microscopic can, and has, changed history, is noteworthy, and after trillions of lost dollars of revenue and millions of lives forever changed worldwide, the damage is not over yet.
The irony is, from adversity comes opportunity, and this was as great an adversity as we could imagine. This afforded the chance for many to reinvent themselves; to find themselves, and also to find each other. Over the past two years, new loves have been found, relationships tightened-and lost-and many have come out of the experience with Positive Stories. That is what you will read here. We found 19 writers from seven different countries and asked them to share their positive outcomes. From ages 21 to 74, they poured out their souls and pains and successes which we hope will inspire you to never give up.
