Publisher's Synopsis
It was March of 2020, and the world was quarantined. With limited access to supplies, groceries and for some, funds, the world as we knew it was forever changing. The pandemic ignited a creativity from the public that perhaps had never been seen before, and this includes what people were cooking and eating. TV Presenter, Christina-Laia Vlahos and Executive Chef & Food Expert, Russell Auckbaraullee teamed up to make this part of quarantine a little easier. Together they created a book of 19 recipes that could be made under $10 to feed a family of four. The recipes include meals and desserts that are easy to make with accessible and economical produce. Their goal is to distribute frugal and fabulous recipes for the world to have access to, as well as donate a portion of the proceeds to charity.
