Publisher's Synopsis
Bye Felicia! is about a man who was caught stealing watermelon from his neighbors garden. The neighbour, whose name is Keysha, is really a witch. She makes a deal to collect his first-born child in exchange for the watermelon. The man agrees, and when the child who they named Felicia is born, Keysha comes to get her. She notices that the child was very bald, and over the years, her hair never grew. So Keysha got her a seventy-inch hair weave because she wanted her daughter to be rare. She did not want an average child. As Felicia got older, she became very disrespectful, so as a punishment, Keysha cut off Felicias hair.
