Publisher's Synopsis
A gift is a seed buried in the ground that longs to grow. The author discovered this at her father's bedside. Because of her talent for articulating her feelings, she was able to find clarity in herself and her writing was born. Most of her poems and musings in this book were intended for specific situations and people who were close to her. At the same time, her works have the strength and healing to provide consolation to anyone who needs it. Tineke Onneweer-van Roon (1954) comes from a family of 12 children. In 1977, she married and had two beautiful children. When her mother became ill and the family struggled with grief, she toyed with the idea of writing poetry. This did not work right away. Only when she "looked at" her father after surgery was she able to find inspiration. She then started to write.
