The Bustle & Sew Magazine is the work of just two women - Helen Dickson, the founder of and creative force behind the Bustle & Sew bunny and her daughter Rosie who joined the team last year! So if you're expecting a glossy high-street, high-budget publication, stuffed with adverts and promotions, then this probably isn't the magazine for you. But if you looking for quirky, unusual and fun sewing projects, all with Helen's unique style, and enjoy filling your home with beautiful ideas, then you're sure to love the Bustle & Sew Magazine.
It's summer at last and my garden is a mass of blooms as the flowers we planted last year for Rosie & Dan's wedding have seeded themselves making my borders into a glorious jumble of vibrant colours. And there are lots of florals in this month's issue too, including a pretty little Ladybird Purse - it's not nearly as hard as I thought it would be to use a purse frame - White Rabbit Hoop and Love is Patient hoop. We also have two softie patterns, Mole from my Wind in the Willows series as well as Cabbage by our very special guest designer May Blossom Designs, together with a fun pompom cushion cover - why not get the kids making pompoms during the holidays?!
There's lots to read between the covers too - and don't forget, you are free to sell items you personally have made from Bustle & Sew patterns. All the templates are included at full size, so there's no awkward re-sizing - no fiddling around with photocopiers or hanging around at printing shops - you can start creating straight away!
There are images of all the Bustle & Sew projects on the front of the cover so you can see at a glance what's inside. Remember - the Bustle & Sew Magazine is an independent stitching and home magazine that carries no advertising at all - every page is full of content for you to enjoy.
