H. S. Eaton, former assistant to Butte County Road Engineer, H. H. Hume, died in San Francisco, follow ing injuries sustained in a fall from a bridge.
R. C. Storrie Company, San Fran cisco, who are to construct the foot Skagit power plant tunnel for the City of Seattle, have opened offices in the Lyon Building, Seattle.
G. H. Nickerson has been appointed chief engineer of the Yosemite Valley railroad. Nickerson occupied the posi tion some years ago but resigned to take up irrigation engineering, road and bridge construction.
