Publisher's Synopsis
The objectives of this research project were: to identify the implications for day care buildings design of key policy issues in the delivery of health and social care to elderly people; to elicit the views of a range of health and social care services providers, users, carers and architects, on aspects of good and poor day care buildings design; and to identify components of good (and poor) practice in day care buildings design. The project's findings and recommendations are presented here.
