Buffy creator Joss Whedon has surpassed himself with the musical masterpiece that is 'Once More With Feeling', in which the residents of Sunnydale are visited by a demon who takes sadistic delight in forcing his victims to express themselves in song. In the process, Buffy and her friends are made to reveal inner secrets which would otherwise have remained unspoken, leading to humour, high drama and sometimes moments of poignancy and grief.
Not least of his achievements is that Whedon wrote both lyrics and music for the entire episode, despite having never written songs before. Now this facsmile edition of the original shooting script -- with the added bonus of sheet music and a colour photo insert from the show -- gives every Buffy fan the chance to appreciate this extraordinary creation in all its exuberant detail.
