Publisher's Synopsis
Broken But Glued--Poems for Survivors contains poems written specifically for others who have survived sexual abuse, cancer, and loss of loved ones. The poems are based on the personal experiences of Ellen Hahn, who is a survivor of breast cancer, childhood sexual abuse and the deaths of beloved relatives. Ellen focuses on the deep pain and, ultimately, the healing, wholeness and happiness she has experienced. This book is intended to give people validation of their pain caused by abuse, and then to develop the confidence and shared reality of healing. The poetry is diverse, expressive and honest.
