Publisher's Synopsis
'Brexit' is the name given to the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union. It is a combination of 'Britain' and 'exit'.
This book is an honest account and reflection of the causes and effects of Brexit. It touches on the puppet masters who are set to financially gain from Brexit, generational voting divergence, the traditional Eurosceptics, those protesting against years of austerity, and those who were simply taken in by the many claims made by the Leave campaign which have been debunked in the three years since the referendum.
The book moves on to look at how a potential no-deal or hard Brexit will impact various aspects of society and aims to inform those with limited exposure to Brexit.
We look at Ireland, the NHS, the impact Brexit will have on farming, science, research, and our ability to import the goods we need and export the goods we sell. We look at the root of the Brexit issue, our duplicitous politicians and we move on to the economy as a whole whilst discussing the impact Brexit will have on business.
The author, having taken the time to dig into the individual aspects of how a no-deal or hard Brexit will impact society, then moves on to summarise each of those areas in bite-sized chunks to help inform the reader on just how significant this national decision is within all parts of our society.
