This is an information source on current work in the field of breast sonography. An international and interdisciplinary approach is used throughout and the book describes the present use and evaluates the future prospects of sonographic methods in the understanding and management of breast disease.;Among the techniques appraised are high-resolution sonography, Doppler and magnetic resonance imaging, X-ray- and sono-mammography, computer-assisted analysis and ultrasound-guided aspiration.
