Publisher's Synopsis
This "Book of Abstracts" represents the main publication of the 49th Meeting of the European Association for Animal Protection, in Warsaw, Poland, 24th to 27th August, 1998. It contains abstracts of the invited papers and contributed presentations, including posters. The meeting had sessions in the field of animal genetics, animal management and health, animal nutrition, animal physiology, cattle production, horse production, pig production, and sheep and goat production. In total 1417 authors from 45 different countries contributed to this publication. From this total 66 authors came from countries outside Europe.
