Publisher's Synopsis
The blood type diet is based on the theory that your blood type determines the foods you should consume (and the exercise you should do) to achieve optimal health. The idea behind the diet is that eating foods with lectins (a type of protein) incompatible with a person's blood type can cause blood cell clumping, called agglutination, and result in health problems such as heart or kidney disease or cancer. If your goal is weight loss, remember that losing weight isn't necessarily the same as being your healthiest self, and there are many other ways to pursue health. Exercise, sleep, and other lifestyle factors also play a major role in your overall health. The best diet is always the one that is balanced and fits your lifestyle.
