Silas and his friends must move fast. The goal: to journey across the desert-to the subterranean facility where Silas first woke up-in search of answers, and whatever technology they might be able to use to their advantage in the coming fight.
Unfortunately, the Protectorate is hot on their heels. On top of that, a new, ominous threat is converging on their position: A HERALD, sent by the AI hivemind SERAPHIM: an opponent Silas is not yet ready to face.
Silas is important, supposedly. Irreplaceable. Referred to by his enemies as 'The Key'. But to what?
The answer might explain everything. But answers are a luxury. Right now, Silas' priority is to protect his friends, and to survive.
