The author writes about issues confronting the United States of America along with the necessity and urgency of turning to God's Holy Word for solutions. The author is a 78-year-old individual who has witnessed the steady, unrelenting downward spiral of society because it rejects God's instructions. He underscores the ills that have led this nation to the brink. He contends this digression, if not repented of, will undermine the progress the nation has made in the last 200 years. Yet there is hope. "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 2:14). The author has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in education, is married, and has two children, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
