While ETH competes with BTC as the gas/oil of blockchain networks, BTC is accepted as a 'digital gold' that stores value despite its lack of digital utility. If you want to use a stablecoin whose value is pegged to the US dollar, there are several options, such as Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche.
