Bioscope is a fully functioning simulation of a real microscope. It includes 56 high-resolution animal and plant specimens, together with accompanying printable tasks for further study. The slide set meets the requirements of most A level syllabuses. Where slides are relevant, tasks have also been included for use by GCSE, IGCSE and O level students. The comprehensive search facility makes finding relevant slides and tasks simple. Bioscope features variable magnification, focusing, stage movement and measurement, helping to give the feeling of a real microscope. Paper-based tasks (in Word and PDF format), of 20 minutes to 2 hours duration, accompany the slides. A search facility helps you locate relevant slides and tasks quickly. Bioscope can be used for whole-class teaching via an interactive whiteboard or by individual students on PCs.
