This work presents the collected papers from the January 1994 conference on bioproducts processing in the tropics, which was held in Kuala Lumpur. The papers deal with traditional problems of bioproducts processing - impeller configuration, aeration and gas hold-up, separation techniques - with a tropical orientation. There are also contributions on the technology of fermentation of tropical products, bio-conversion of waste from major tropical materials like sugar cane, and a variety of effluent treatment problems.
