Publisher's Synopsis
Examining the full scope of digital signal processing in the biomedical field, this guide provides the basics of digital signal processing as well as C-language programs for designing and implementing simple digital filers. It provides a set of laboratory experiements that can be done using either an actual analog-to-digital converter or a virtual (ie. simulated with software) converter. A floppy disk provided with the book includes the special program called UW DigiScope which provides an environment for conducting laboratory experiments, designing digital filters of different types and visualizing the results of processing on the display.
