Publisher's Synopsis

In the present work, we studied the diversity of aphidofauna and their natural enemies present on the experimental orchards of the INSFP of Lakhdaria (wilaya of Bouira, Algeria). Weekly monitoring of aphid population dynamics was carried out between February and May 2019. The results obtained allowed first to highlight a qualitative richness of 4 species of aphids infested with citrus in this region (Aphis spiraecola, A. gossypii, Myzus persicae and Toxoptera aurantii), the species A. spiraecola is the most dominant. Brachycaudus helychrysi, Hyalopterus pruni and Myzus persicae are the three species recorded on the nectarine tree. Three predators were counted: Coccinella algerica, Harmonia axyridis, and Episyrphus balteatus. Aphidius colemani is the only parasitoid species collected in this study.
