In clinical psychology, everything is BioPsychoSocial now. They take a team approach to the treatment and cure of mental illness. They employ psychiatrists and medical doctors to make sure that there is nothing physically wrong. They use psychologists to try to identify the specific mental illness, personality disorder, or psyche illness that a person has; and then, they use social workers for therapy and treatment options. If it is good enough for clinical psychology, then it is also good enough for Theoretical Psychology. Truth remains true no matter where you find it, or how it is used.The BioPsychoSocial Model was developed for abnormal psychology and the treatment of mental illnesses, but I have observed that the BioPsychoSocial Model makes for an excellent Model of Reality, if we choose to let it do so, because it attempts to be holistic or all-inclusive. I'm talking about a Paradigm Shift here, a Psyche Ontology, wherein Psyche or Intelligence or a Conserved Quantum is treated as the fundamental unit of Reality.The materialists, naturalists, nihilists, behaviorists, and atheists have already concluded that the quantum or the non-physical does not exist; therefore, these people have already concluded that psyches or conserved quanta do not exist. The materialists and naturalists are the sworn enemies to quantum mechanics or non-physical physics. These two worldviews or models of reality are mutually exclusive. They are at war with each other. They falsify each other. If one of them can be demonstrated to be true, then the other one has been falsified.I ask myself all the time which Model of Reality has the most scientific explanatory power - the model that denies the existence of the quantum or the non-physical, or the model that tries to explain what the quantum is and how it works. Quantum mechanics wins over the denialistic philosophies of science every time.
