Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Biblical Selections for Beginners in German: With Questions for Drill in Speaking Writing and Grammar
The questions on the text are divided into two groups: questions for practical conversation, and grammatical questions. The first group contains hints how to prepare the text assigned, so that the student will have a foundation for such other questions as the teacher may form. It is not supposed that the teacher will simply read the questions out of the book. A few pages are left without questions. The object is that, after the student has enjoyed the drill in the first thirty pages, he may be thrown on his own re sources and make questions himself, which he ought to write out and hand to the teacher for correction.
