Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Bible Studies From the Old and New Testaments: Covering the International Sunday-School Lessons for 1892
If this volume lacks the savor of the library, the author trusts that it will not be found deficient in the Spirit of truth and light which certainly has been much present in his mind and heart. He sends it forth (the fifth in the series) with the prayer that it may prove both a help and a blessing to his readers, as the preparation of it has been to him. In the preface to the last volume the author ventured to ask the prayers of his readers for the presence and blessing of the Spirit of God upon his evangelistic labors in this land, then in prospect. He would repeat that request, now that he is in the land preaching and teaching the Gospel of Christ, both to nominal Christians and heathen.
