From time immemorial, the mystery of the hidden faces has been...The self-existing God created the Heavens and the physical world, the Earth. He created man as the ruler of the earth for Him while He ruled the heavens. All the components and inhabitants of the earth were under man's authority just like heaven was under God.Lucifer, Satan the devil, filled-with pride led a third of the angels to revolt against God in heaven. But the faithful angels led by Arch-angel Michael fought and cast him into the earth.Filled with desire for revenge, the devil went and deceived man into believing him instead of God. In doing that, man unwittingly entered into a spiritual covenant, a Spirit-tie, with the devil in which man must obey him without question. Man became a bond-servant to the devil and surrendered his governing of the earth to him. This is because spiritually, one becomes the servant of whosoever one yields oneself to obey (Romans 6:16). The whole earth fell with man. Armed with this dishonest but legitimate acquisition of the rule over the earth, the devil started changing the entire earthly creation to fit into his evil and anti-God motive, just like a typical new Chief Executive would want the furnishings and details of his office to be according to his taste.He began to modify and mobilise the whole earth against man and God. He does this deceptively. The changes were so drastic that he got the foundations of the earth out of course (Psalm 82:5). Whereas at the beginning the earth was founded on God's love and goodness, now it has acquired selfishness, hatred, wickedness, pain, sorrow, fear, etc, the imprints of the devil.Nevertheless, God did not abandon man and the earth for the devil to destroy. He sent Jesus Christ who came to the earth and paid the price of man's sin by the shedding of his blood (Hebrews 9:22) and redeemed the whole human race from the devil's right of ownership.But for anyone to get this deliverance from Satan's ownership and oppression, each person has to make a choice. The choice is either to accept that Jesus Christ has paid for such person's sins and freedom and be delivered; or refuse to believe (for whatever reason) and remain under the devil and be damned. The scripture says that whosoever believes will not be condemned but whoever does not believe is condemned already (John 3:18). This choice-making gives each person the opportunity to exercise his/her God-given right of free-will choice. When anyone receives Jesus Christ, thus rejecting the devil, he/she breaks his/her Spirit -tie with the devil and then belongs to God. Hallelujah! Without this no one can belong to God.But the devil is very determined to keep mankind under. He has therefore set up an epic battle against the human race, ready to do anything to shield God away from him. In his desperation, there are no bars to what he is ready to do... He modifies, mutilates, mummifies things, ideas, ideals, emotions, thought patterns, discoveries, times, circumstances, etc to try and achieve this aim. And so the battle rages: between the love-plea of God and the vengeful desperation of Satan...
