The BSAVA Small Animal Formulary is widely used by practitioners and students. It provides a wealth of information on veterinary licensed and human drugs used in companion animal medicine.
Since the last edition, companion animal therapeutics has continued to develop. There are now 49 new monographs as well as major revisions to several of the current monographs.
Another major change in this edition is the adoption of international non–proprietary names (rINN). Both rINN and UK names are listed in the main index.
