Publisher's Synopsis
This book is the second of two volumes drawing together a collection of articles previously published in the British Medical Journal covering contemporary issues in research, and the second of the two statistical volumes. In common with the Volume 1, it is a small collection of articles that give key answers to many of the common questions asked about statistical approaches, methods and interpretation. Each article also provides linked information and explicit evidence to support the statements made. It continues the topics of RCTs and analysis but also highlights implementation research and prognostic research. Each article is written by an expert in the field and the volume brings together a masterclass in research topics.
