The book deals with the evaluation of high-dose chemotherapy followed by autologous bone marrow or blood stem cell trans- plantation as treatment forHodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Alternative salvages strate- gies in this rapidly developing field are reviewed and risk factors associated with clinical outcome of newly diagnosed lymphomas and lymphomas in relapse are evaluated.
