Publisher's Synopsis
Tom meets Sarah at a writing conference where they are both booked to have book signings. Tom had given up on finding love because he was autistic. He had tried everything including trying to change who he was to win a woman over and it just was not worth it to him anymore. Once Tom accepted and loved himself and his autism other women started noticing him. Sarah was very eager to get to know Tom. Tom spent years learning how to be someone he was not trying to get a woman to like him. Tom was so insecure with himself that he over texted women and sent them too many dozen roses and even had some stalking charges against him. Having Asperger's Syndrome he was very confused about how he got into trouble for stalking women because he was always nice to them. He did not know that you could get into trouble for being too nice. This confused Tom. Luckily for Tom Sarah was very old fashioned and a little older which met she was more mature than a lot of the women Tom had encountered in the past. Sarah wanted a man to be totally into her and pay constant attention to her which was great for Tom because that was who he was naturally. This would mean that Tom could be himself and still have Sarah like him. The two talked for hours at the writing conference in New York City. Then they decided they liked each other so much they went to dinner that evening when the conference closed. The two hit it off at dinner and there was a lot of laughter and conversation. Tom and Sarah were both excited to finally meet someone they felt connected to. Will Sarah and Tom fall in love or will this magical moment fade off into the darkness and disappear. Here is an excerpt from the book. "Todd used to have to be a sugar daddy in order to get some intimacy and companionship for himself. Because he could not find any women that liked him he felt trapped like he had to pay someone to be intimate with him and this was a huge problem because as a young adult in college he did not have much money. He would end up using all of his college financial aid money just paying people to have dinner with him and hangout with him. Tom spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loan money just paying people to hang out with him. Sarah was used to being hit on and like every other guy before him Tom would have to come up with some kind of a way to be unique to catch her attention. Every guy before him had failed but he was determined and this was at the point where he just decided to look for friendship first."
