دیپک قمر نے نئی غزل کے کارواں کو نئی رُتوں اور نئی ہواؤں میں سانس لینا سکھایا ہے۔ ان کے اشعار میں جو نئی حسیت ہے وہ جدیدیت کے فارمولوں یا نعروں کی دین نہیں بلکہ وہ ان کے رومانی تجربوں سے کونپلوں کی طرح پھوٹتی ہے۔ ان کی غزلوں کا فرد دھواں دھواں زندگی کا تماشائی بھی ہے اور تماشا بھی۔ ان کے اکثر اشعار آج کے پرآشوب دور کا آئینہ ہیں جن میں انسانی وجود اور اس کی مقدس اقدار کڑی آزمائشوں سے گزرتی ہیں۔
