Die einzelnen Aufsätze sind demnach fast unverändert ge blieben und bis auf einige wenige Zusätze so, wie sie vor 6 oder 8 Jahren aus meiner Feder ge?ossen sind. Man wird vielleicht fragen, was mich bestimmte, dieselben trotz der seit jener Zeit gemachten bedeutenden Fortschritte auf dem Gebiete der Padia trik jetzt noch zu veröffentlichen. Ich antworte hierauf, dass ich keinen Augenblick anstehe zu behaupten, dass sie allesammt, vom physiologisch-pathologischen Standpunkte aufgefasst, für den prak tischen Arzt gewiss heute noch eben so viel Werth haben, als zu der Zeit, in welcher sie geschrieben wurden.
