Publisher's Synopsis
This series features a collection of visual images in infectious diseases. The electronic version allows the user to search for and manipulate this data. Detailed information can be uncovered easily with a search function. Text can be cut, pasted and printed or saved to a file. The image viewer lets the user zoom in on the images, so that an area can be selected and blown up to examine it in more detail. Like the text, the images can be saved to a hard disk. From there, the images can be loaded into a popular presentation software package.
