All Commander Nottap wanted was the respect of his father and brothers, as he chose not to follow the family line and join the Neiubo Army. But when he chooses to join the Planetary Developers Corporation, a civilian spacefaring company, it's hard to prove he is as bold as they are. Rising to the rank of Commander wasn't good enough for them, he had to "Prove" himself.
The Governor of Nav Corp has assigned him and a crew to a new state-of-the-art space vessel for the maiden voyage. A simple task: travel to the Chiappaletine nebula, collect gasses, liquids, and metals to test the load capacity and performance of the vessel, and return to port.
UNTIL a call for help comes from planet Aden. Reluctant to answer their call they witness an invasive species attack a city on Aden. The Gov of Nav Corp adds a little side job, to their task, help the Aden people. Things get complicated as the Adens stand forty-feet tall. Transporting them is not an option, fighting the invasive species, not an option. They have a plan.
