Publisher's Synopsis
Viewers begin with by shaping a simple piece of cardboard into a box and wrapping it in plaster wrap to create a solid structure. Then Kristen demonstrates how to make a mold and use paperclay to create a bird focal point for the shrine. Viewers will then learn how to enhance the shrine by attaching the bird, brushing on wax for dimension and creating plaster ruffles. Finishing touches including etching into the wax, adding color and a graceful tag make the shrine deeply personal.
