Scientific Study from the year 2017 in the subject Medicine - Orthopedy, grade: 90.99, Aligarh Muslim University (JLN Medical College), course: MS, language: English, abstract: In this study the author evaluated and assessed the role of arthroscopy in different shoulder pathologies, both diagnostic and therapeutic. With improvements in technology and instrumentation, arthroscopy has become the primary treatment modality for many shoulder disorders. Compared with open techniques, arthroscopy has smaller incisions and damage to deltoid muscle is very less, improved intra-articular visualization, less pain, and faster postoperative recovery.
