Gen. Sharpe, the committee would be very glad to have you make a statement in your own way in connection with the Quartermaster Department, of which you were the head for quite a number of years, and we would like to hear any suggestions that you may wish to make as to the efficiency of that department and the organization of new divisions to handle the work that was formerly handled by you and the officers under you.
