Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Are All Anaesthetics Dangerous Which Contain Chlorine, Bromine, or Iodine?
It was the author's intention to give, in connection with the following notes, the results of a physiological research which has been commenced in this connection, but upon a second consideration it appeared doubtful as to how soon this investigation would be completed. As anything of practical value relating to anaesthetics must al ways he of momentary importance to the profession, and as there is much to be learned from the literature of the subject alone, and as there are many facts herein contained which are of considerable interest and not generally known, and may prove of imme diate value to both the therapeutist and experimenter, it was deemed best not to with hold this portion of the paper, but rather to let the record of the experiments follow.
