Right after her grandma passes away, Kaci's parents sell their ranch and all of the horses, ripping poor Kaci away from everything she's ever known and loved. What's a horse crazy girl without horses to do in a new town where no one knows her name? Well, if you're Kaci, you take action. You take matters into your own hands and you don't take no for an answer. She sets out to make a name for herself as a horse trainer in the small town of Wild Hearts, Texas. But that's not the easiest thing to do when you're only twelve and no one knows anything about your past or your grandmother's legacy. However, that doesn't discourage her in the slightest. Nope, that only makes her try even harder. With the help of her eight-year-old neighbor, a cat named Sir Fluffytin, and a goat with a ridiculously long name, will she ever be able to achieve her dreams?
