While driving down a deserted highway, Jason Lake and his girlfriend, Bailey Henderson, make a chilling discovery: a woman's severed hand, its wedding ring glinting in the sunlight. They take the grisly find to the nearest town's police station, only to be met with an unsettling response from a seemingly indifferent homicide detective. Their troubles deepen as unforeseen complications leave them stranded in the isolated town, cut off from the outside world with no cell service or other dependable means of communication.
