He served as Supt. Of Merrimack County Home from 1948 to 1952.
He again returned to Andover when he became Merrimack County Agricultural Agent in 1952, the position he held until 1970. At that time he became Asst. To the Director of Exten sion in Durham, where he worked until his retirement in 1972. He has served on the Andover School Board, as a Trustee of Proctor, as a Trustee and Moderator of Andover Cong. Church, on the State Grange Agricultural Committee and is a member of Kearsarge Lodge 81 f&am and Blackwater Grange.
